 Recently we have expanded into a new industry – GENERATORS.  This is an ever-growing market across the country because of the eminent fact that power outages are part of our lives.

 Most families are choosing their independence by having a natural gas automatic standby generator installed at their home working in tandem with their existing electrical system.  During an outage your power is restored in approximately 30 seconds, automatically!

 For those of you who have purchased a 4 or 5 thousand wat gas generator and are simply running an extension cord into your home to plug in your refrigerators, sump pumps, water systems, furnaces, etc., there’s an easier and extremely less expensive option.   Many manufacturers are providing a 6 to 8 space manual transfer switch that mounts and installs into your existing panel box.  During an outage you simply wheel your generator outside, start your generator, plug in a rated cord with a cord end and then manually move you’re your 6 to 8 switches on your transfer switch from line to generator, backing up and restoring power to your chosen items safely!

 Many experts and I believe that in the near future most homes in our country will have installed these systems and will be as common as an air conditioner due to heavier demands on our electrical grid and weather.
